Calling All Cheer Parents Let's Go Shopping! We're excited to launch the second season of the Kingston Cougars Pop Warner Football & Spirit Program! There are a lot of people who have given so much time and effort to get our program started . . . and we thank you all for your support and, most of all, for your time. We still have a lot to do so if you can step up and help out - contact a board member ASAP! Download the newest newsletter here. Mission Statement The objectives of Pop Warner are to encourage and increase youth participation in sports, ensure a safe and positive playing environment for all participants, and to instill life-long values of teamwork, dedication and superior work ethic in life and on the field. Pop Warner has no tryouts or cutting of rosters, everyone participates under mandatory rules of play, and individual awards are given only for academic excellence, not for on-field activities. Pop Warner is the largest and oldest youth football/spirit program in the United States as well as the only national youth sports organization that requires its participants to perform in the classroom before permitting them to play on the field. Pop Warner believes that the standards they have set give the children a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for academics and athletics that will help them develop later on in life. Kingston Cougars draw area includes kids from: Brentwood, Deerfield, East Kingston, Exeter, Epping, Fremont, Kingston, Lee, Newton, Northwood, Nottingham, and Raymond.
